Transdev U.S. Celebrates Women’s Equality Day 2024 and Reaffirms its Commitment to Gender Parity
As the United States celebrates Women’s Equality Day 2024, Transdev U.S. proudly reaffirms its commitment to gender equality, aligning with the European Commission’s Gender Equality Strategy that Transdev signed in 2020. This initiative aims for women to make up 50% of corporate board members/top executives by 2025—a goal that Transdev U.S. has actively embraced.
In recognizing the historical imbalance that led to the creation of Women’s Equality Day, Transdev is deeply committed to ensuring that no woman—or anyone who identifies as a woman—within our organization is treated differently based on gender. This principle is a cornerstone of our mission, driving our efforts to foster a truly inclusive environment where everyone can thrive.
Transdev U.S. is leading by example, with three women currently serving on its executive leadership team, including the CEO Laura Hendricks and COOs Susan Sweat and Lauren Skiver. Their leadership not only pushes the company forward but also sets a powerful example of what women can achieve in our industry. This strong representation at the highest level reflects our ongoing dedication to fostering an inclusive environment where women can thrive.
At Transdev, we are dedicated to strengthening the women in our workforce by energizing them to continuously learn and develop new skills. We provide a wealth of resources, from mentorship programs to online courses and toolkits, all designed to elevate and advance their careers. Our commitment is to create an environment where every woman has the tools and support needed to achieve their full potential and rise to new heights within the company.
“True progress comes from inclusivity and equal representation. Our commitment to gender equality isn’t just about meeting targets—it’s about fostering an environment where women can lead, innovate, and inspire. On Women’s Equality Day, we celebrate the achievements of our female leaders and reaffirm our dedication to creating a more equitable future for all,” said Laura Hendricks, Chief Executive Officer, Transdev U.S.
