Engagement Driven by Our People

Our people power the places we serve with purpose.

At Transdev, we believe that the best ideas come from a variety of perspectives. By fostering an environment where all voices are heard, valued, and empowered, we create opportunities for innovation, collaboration, and growth. Our strength comes from the unique experiences, backgrounds, and talents of our team members, and we are dedicated to uplifting and supporting each individual so they can thrive.

We recognize that our care for the communities we serve stems from us being a part of them. Our team members live, work, and raise families in these communities, and that connection inspires our commitment to creating a workplace that reflects the same values of respect, consistency, and collaboration.

To support this, we’ve taken steps to actively involve employees in shaping our culture. One such effort is our employee engagement council, a rotating group of more than 10 team members representing the variety of experiences and perspectives across Transdev, from frontline operations to executive leadership. With guidance from an Executive Committee sponsor, the council helps prioritize initiatives that strengthen engagement and create meaningful change.

Thriving people create thriving workplaces

“Transdev U.S. is committed to fostering a workplace where our team members feel valued, respected, and connected to the communities they come from and serve. As part of our corporate social responsibility, we actively engage our workforce in meaningful ways that strengthen local connections and create positive impacts. By embracing different perspectives and experiences, we ensure our team is reflective of the communities we support and work within every day.”

We Put Careers in Motion

We believe that the different perspectives, experiences, and ideas our employees bring are what drive us forward every day. That’s why we proudly celebrate their contributions, especially during recognition months like Hispanic Heritage Month, Black History Month, Women’s History Month, and Movember, by highlighting individuals who are making an impact across Transdev.

Our commitment to employee development goes beyond recognition. Each year, our employee council outlines a strategic roadmap focused on workforce growth, continuous learning, and community engagement, making these efforts a core part of our culture.

Through scholarships, APTA Foundation funding, and partnerships with organizations such as the Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS), the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO), Latinos in Transit (LIT), and the American Public Transportation Association (APTA), we provide our team members with the tools and opportunities to thrive and lead in the transportation industry.

By fostering a collaborative, forward-thinking, and safety-driven workplace, we empower our team to bring Our Purpose to life every day.

Supporting one another, sharing knowledge, and embracing new ideas creates a culture where people feel valued and ready to make a difference. This reflects Transdev’s Vision: We never stop driving forward to be chosen by our clients, passengers, and people—a commitment to continuous improvement and putting people first.
