Transdev Names Donna Woodson General Manager of Cobb County Contract

Transdev, the leading private sector provider of multi-modal mobility solutions, is pleased to announce that Donna Woodson has been named the General Manager of CobbLinc for the company’s contract with Cobb County in the Atlanta metro area.

Woodson brings 17 years of transit experience to the position, with the entirety of her career in rising roles and responsibilities. She first started as a paratransit operator in 1999 at the company’s contract in Greensboro, N.C. before moving on to a dispatch role. She left Greensboro as a fixed-route operations director in 2014 to assume the Operations Manager position at the company’s contract with Cobb County. At CobbLinc she was promoted only five months later to Deputy General Manager. CobbLinc serves about 200,000 passengers a month on 14 routes, transporting passengers within Cobb County and to/from downtown and mid-town Atlanta.

“Donna has in-depth knowledge of all aspects of operations and understands the elements needed to build first-rate public transportation.
