Ryan Meals brings extensive and diverse financial experience to his role as Chief Financial Officer at Transdev North America. Since joining Transdev in 2018, he has played key roles in the company’s evolution from transitioning out of B2C businesses, exploring autonomous vehicle initiatives, and supporting the acquisition and integration of a major competitor. Before Transdev, Ryan helped a California banking division expand significantly, growing loan volume from $100 million to $3 billion per year. He began his career in auditing at KPMG, working with Midwest manufacturing and retail clients.

Ryan’s financial leadership spans strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, budgeting, risk management, and oversight of financial systems. He has led numerous successful initiatives, including systems conversions, securitizations, and the development of complex risk models. He values cross-functional collaboration and works to bring finance, operations, and other support teams together to strengthen overall performance.

Ryan and his team are focused on ensuring the strong financial health of Transdev’s U.S. operations. They are building solid internal partnerships and working closely with business leaders to support the company’s continued growth and expanding market position.

He earned bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Accounting from the University of Illinois, where he also completed the Hoeft Technology and Management Program.
