Transdev Renews Partnership with Texas State University, Extending a Decade of Campus Support
Transdev U.S. is thrilled to announce the renewal of its contract with Texas State University, a partnership that has spanned a decade and continues to provide essential operational and maintenance support for the university’s fixed-route shuttle services. The contract renewal was finalized just in time for the new academic year, enabling Transdev’s dedicated team to gear up for back-to-school events and kick off another year of exceptional service.
Since the beginning of this partnership in 2014, Transdev has proudly helped Texas State University meet the transit needs of its vibrant campus community. With an annual ridership of approximately 2.43 million passengers, the shuttle services cater to students, faculty, and campus visitors alike, making transit both convenient and reliable for the Texas State community. This broad service also accommodates visitors for special events or game days, contributing to an engaging campus experience. In addition to regular campus transit services, the team frequently supports on-campus and charter requests from various departments, recently expanding services to add three additional runs in response to the community’s growing needs.
