Carmen Alba Appointed Senior Vice President of Transit for Transdev U.S. Northwest Region
Transdev U.S. is pleased to announce the appointment of Carmen Alba as the Senior Vice President (SVP) for the Northwest region of its Transit division. Alba brings a wealth of experience to this position, with more than 20 years of leadership in the transportation industry, including 15 years with Transdev U.S.
Alba most recently served as Vice President of Operations at the Sacramento Regional Transit District (SacRT), where she led large-scale transit operations for five and a half years. At SacRT, she held roles such as Vice President of Bus Operations, where she was instrumental in advancing service delivery, operational efficiency, and innovative solutions for the region.
Before joining SacRT, Alba served as Director of Operations at dPI Teleconnect LLC for five years, and as General Manager at various locations with Transdev U.S., overseeing the development and execution of transit services. Her leadership and operational expertise have been central to her success in the transit industry.
Alba is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Operations Committee of the California Transit Association (CTA), Sacramento Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce (Metro Chamber), Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS) – Sacramento Chapter, and the American Public Transportation Association (APTA). In her role as Senior Vice President, Alba joins the senior leadership team of the transit division and will oversee Transdev’s transit operations throughout the Northwest region, ensuring the highest standards of safety, customer service, and innovation.
Alba earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from Amberton University.
