Local Roadeo Winners Make Transdev Proud at APTA’s International Competition
At the recent APTA International Roadeo competition, held in conjunction with the APTA Mobility Conference, Transdev was proudly represented both in the bus operator and maintenance categories.
Congratulations to both drivers Ab EkChan, from our RTD location in Denver, and John Garcia, from our Foothill Transit location in California, who showed off their impressive driving skills in the bus operator competition. Both Ab and John had won their local Roadeo competitions, which qualified them to compete in the international show in Portland earlier this month.
Accolades also go out to the Fairfax maintenance team, comprised of Mario Llanos, Martin Lopez and Oscar Matamoros, who competed alongside the best in the business in the maintenance category. Our 3-time State of Virginia winners showed off their maintenance skills, including troubleshooting and diagnostics of engines, exit doors, HVAC systems, Multiplex systems, air brakes and vehicle inspection, in the international competition.
