Transdev Expands Partnership with RTD’s Access-a-Ride Paratransit Services
Transdev is proud to announce the expansion of its partnership with the Regional Transportation District (RTD)’s paratransit services in Denver, CO – specifically its Access-a-Ride Dedicated and Access-a-Ride Non-Dedicated paratransit services, effective July 1, 2023. Services they have operated since 2017.
As part of their expanded partnership, Transdev now will be responsible for the operations, maintenance, road supervision for 65% of the Access-a-Ride dedicated service. Transdev will continue to be responsible for the non-dedicated service contract, for which it works with subcontracted transportation providers. The contract includes an increase to 212 active vehicles (from 86 vehicles) and more than 220 employees (from the current 100).
“We’ve worked with RTD for many years and they’ve seen our commitment to safety, reliability and customer service,” said Ron Bushman, regional vice president for Transdev’s Rockies Region. “We’re excited they have the confidence in our experience and expertise to entrust us with a larger portion of their Access-a-Ride service,” continued Bushman.
