Transdev’s Workforce Development Effort in Action at Rockland Community College

Transdev is committed to developing our workforce internally, but also to looking at external opportunities to partner with schools and associations to attract new talent and introduce them to the transportation industry and its interesting facets.

Our efforts at Rockland Community College in New York is one such example.

Our local Hudson Link team in New York is partnering with Rockland Community College, specifically their graphic design department, on a specifically designed marketing project.

As part of their course, these graphics students develop various campaigns that promote ridership on our service. The project gives students the experience of developing an advertising campaign that will be used across various media platforms and a first-hand understanding of the importance of working within a company’s brand guidelines. The students are responsible for presenting their progress on these ridership campaigns at different touchpoints throughout the year.

The results of the project offer the students some real-world experience and provide our Hudson Link team with some creative marketing solutions. It’s an exciting way to get the next generation interested in transit.
