Northern California’s Transit Community Supports VTA During Memorial Bus Parade

Recently, several of our Transdev teams in California participated in the memorial held in San Jose in remembrance of the victims of the May 26 shooting at Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA).

There was a bus parade in San Jose, followed by a ceremony at the SAP Center. Our area clients, Sonoma, LAVTA, County Connection, SolTrans and Napa, all sent buses to participate in the parade. Our participation was organized in close partnership with our clients. As an example, Cheryl Drake, our NAPA General Manager, accompanied our Napa Valley Transportation Authority (NVTA) client to the parade.

Those in attendance shared that it was very moving to see the northern California transit community come out in full support of VTA.

Note: VTA also is our client – we operate their ADA eligibility services.
