Moving Closer to 30 years: Transdev announces continued partnership with New Jersey Transit
Transdev is proud to announce the continuation of its long partnership with New Jersey Transit to operate its Monmouth County Area Local Bus Service for another three years. Transdev has operated this contract for New Jersey Transit for close to 30 years.
As part of this partnership, Transdev manages the operations, maintenance and operator recruitment and training of Monmouth County’s seven fixed routes, which includes 20 vehicles and 55 employees.
“We look forward to continuing this strong relationship with Monmouth County,” said Justin Augustine, Transdev’s northeast regional vice president. “We are excited to lend our expertise and bring added value to the service, which will ultimately benefit our client and our passengers.”

The contract renewal was approved by the New Jersey Transit Board on February 10, 2021 and became effective March 20, 2021.
