Chief Human Resources Officer
Mark Salisbury is a seasoned leader who brings more than 25 years of HR expertise to the role of Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Transdev U.S.
Mark’s diverse industry experience includes healthcare, pharmaceuticals, biotech, supply chain, and marketing for companies such as Blue Cross & Blue Shield, Pfizer, and McDonald’s. His rich background is valuable to Transdev’s HR strategy and delivery alignment with the business.
Prior to joining Transdev, Mark served as the head of Human Resources for Health Care Service Corporation’s five state-level Blue Cross Blue & Shield Plans with 23,000 employees and 16 million benefit recipients. Prior to that, Mark was head of HR for Pfizer’s $1.4 billion biotech infusion systems business unit with 8,000 employees globally.
He shares his deep expertise in the areas of business strategy, talent management & acquisition, organizational effectiveness, leadership coaching & development and labor relations with his team and business leaders to ensure Transdev delivers successful business results while being a great place to work.
Mark earned both his undergraduate and master’s degrees (MA Management & Human Resources) from his home state of Minnesota. He also holds numerous human resources certifications including the Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR) and Prosci’s Change Management program.
Mark serves on the Board of Trustees for Wolcott College Prep in Chicago which focuses on an enriched strength-focused educational and extra-curricular program for students with learning differences.
