Laura Hendricks joins Transdev as the President of Transdev Services
for the U.S.
Transdev North America is pleased to announce that Laura Hendricks has joined our Transdev U.S. team this week as our new President of Transdev Services. She will be a member of Transdev’s North American Executive Committee and will report to CEO Yann Leriche. She is taking over this position from Cincinnati-based Mike Setzer, who successfully led Transdev’s transit business unit for the past 18 months and will now transition into part-time retirement.
Laura brings with her an impressive array of operational and managerial expertise built over a career that spans some 30 years. She is an accomplished senior executive with extensive experience in operations, business development, client services, quality and financial oversight, culture-building, change management and more. She has held leadership roles in several companies with geographically dispersed operations similar to Transdev’s, including Cintas and FedEx, where she spent eight and 16 years respectively.
She also has held executive roles at XPO Logistics (global transportation and logistics provider) and was president of Valspar – a global coatings manufacturer. She spent three years as President of Merry Maids, a division of ServiceMaster, with 450 franchise operations and over 80 company owned operations across the U.S.. Laura also served as CEO and a board member of Coach America, where she was promoted to CEO from EVP of business development.
“Laura’s leadership style, along with her strategic and operational strengths, will make her a major asset to our organization,” explained Yann Leriche, CEO Transdev North America.
“I am excited to return to transportation and bring my expertise to Transdev and this rapidly evolving industry. Public transit plays such an important role in cities and I am proud to be a part of it,” said Laura Hendricks.
Going forward, Mike Setzer will serve as client and operational advisor to CEO Yann Leriche and to Laura, as he transitions into his part-time retirement. “Mike will continue to be available to support Laura and her team with key projects and clients such as Nassau County and New Orleans. We are very grateful to Mike for his contributions to our clients, Transdev and the transit industry over many years,” added Leriche.
Laura currently resides in Cincinnati and will be relocating to the Chicago area next year.
