Transdev U.S. Employees Unite for Breast Cancer Awareness

This October, Transdev U.S. partnered with the Susan G. Komen Foundation for a breast cancer awareness campaign, showcasing their solidarity and commitment to this important cause. Transdev is committed to living its purpose by serving the common good of our local communities through similar campaigns. This inaugural initiative, which included a fundraising component, was marked by exceptional dedication and teamwork.

The entire company participated in raising awareness of breast cancer throughout the month of October by sharing, “Awareness Wednesday” posts for all employees, various flyers and posters on how to hold local enhancement events, and even a company webinar held by Komen staff focused on educating employees about Breast Cancer.

For the fundraising component, the company had seven teams, comprising 44 individuals, who participated in the initial fundraising campaign through Komen, collectively raising over $2,700. With Transdev’s corporate match, the total amount raised exceeded $5,400. This sum reflects the hard work and passion of everyone involved. From organizing events to spreading awareness, each team member played a crucial role in making this campaign a success.

In addition to the company’s dedication to community and employee engagement, Transdev recognizes the vital link between transportation and positive health outcomes, which made partnering with Susan G. Komen an easy fit.

As part of its suite of solutions, Transdev provides essential transportation services that help patients get to and from their medical appointments, ensuring they can access the care they need. Transdev prides itself on being an integral part of the process, offering a variety of transportation options that make life-saving healthcare more accessible.
