Transdev U.S. Appoints Brian Costello as Vice President of Finance
Transdev U.S. is pleased to announce the appointment of Brian Costello as the Vice President of Finance, marking an important step forward in strengthening the organization’s financial strategy, operational efficiency, and long-term growth capabilities.
Costello brings more than two decades of experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting operations, controllership, and strategic business partnering. His career spans several major consumer and manufacturing organizations, where he has built a reputation for leading high-performing teams, modernizing financial systems, and implementing data-driven decision-making.
Most recently, Costello served as Senior Director of Accounting at Mark Anthony Services Inc., where he led a series of financial transformation initiatives that improved forecasting accuracy, enhanced reporting capabilities, and strengthened internal controls. His work included modernizing enterprise resource planning systems, partnering with global financial planning and analysis (FP&A) teams, and supporting major capital and operational projects through advanced financial modeling and scenario planning.
Before joining Mark Anthony Services, Costello held key finance roles at Diageo, Sears Holdings, Alberto Culver, and Motorola. His experience includes overseeing profit and loss management for a $700 million manufacturing facility, guiding capital planning for investment programs exceeding $800 million annually, and supporting new product launches through detailed financial analysis.

Costello holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance & Accounting from the Kellstadt School of Business – DePaul University in Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Connecticut. He will be based in the Lombard, IL, office and will oversee financial planning, reporting, and transformation initiatives across Transdev’s U.S. operations.
With Costello’s appointment, Transdev U.S. continues to invest in building a finance function that supports innovation, strengthens operational performance, and enhances the company’s ability to deliver safe, reliable, and efficient mobility solutions to the communities it serves.
