Chris Bowling, General Manager of the Houston Metro Fixed Route location in Texas, has lived out his purpose as a Transdev employee for over 28 years. Chris leads his team by helping them and making sure things run smoothly.
“My job is to be a support person for all the staff here, to make sure we run an efficient operation,” he said. “I strive to be a good leader, a good mentor, an individual that people can come to if they have a question, and if I don’t have the answer, then hopefully, I can find that answer for them.”
Chris shares the passion he has for helping others and stresses the importance of upholding a service record that is rooted in reliability.
“Here at Transdev, we empower the freedom to move. When people see that bus coming up, they know that they’re going to get there on time and in a safe manner,” he said.
He also praises his staff for the Care they put into their jobs every day. Every passenger matters and is treated with respect.
“Our operators are very caring. They know when somebody needs assistance, and they’ll go the extra mile for them,” he explained.
Chris shares the positive results of the services his location offers riders, “I love that we impact people’s lives, and we get them where they need to go. They rely on us, we’re there for them, and it makes a difference.”
