Rockland County’s public transit system (TOR) and our Transdev management and staff were recognized in the County’s recent media release for how our operations have adapted and responded to the COVID-19 crisis. 

On May 21 the transportation industry came together once again for the second #SoundTheHorn campaign to honor and thank all public transportation frontline, essential employees working through the coronavirus crisis.

Our Nassau operations wanted to make a point of letting their drivers know how much they appreciate them and their ongoing commitment. What better way to do that than to show them.

Do you remember where you were February 25, 1970? Harry Burnell does. Harry decided to join South Carolina Electric & Gas as a bus driver. Over his 50 years, Harry has seen so much change and so much progress in the transportation industry.
