Safety Corner

Transdev is proud to announce that Ryan Woods, Operations Manager for their Kean University Vehicle Services contract in New Jersey, recently achieved Automotive Service Excellence’s (ASE’s) World Class Technician certification.

An applicant must have completed 22 specific ASE certifications to even qualify for World Class Technician status, according to the ASE. Ryan was one of only 44 technicians to receive the World Class recognition this year.

“Ryan’s work ethic and discipline is amazing,” said Robert Curci, Transdev’s General Manager for Vehicle Services. “Along with successfully achieving World Class Technician status for himself, he also achieved Lean Silver status for our facility. We are fortunate to have Ryan as part of our team – he lives our purpose every day and is a tremendous asset to our team and to our clients,” added Curci.

Transdev’s Vehicle Services business maintains more than 36,500 vehicles and pieces of equipment, ranging from vehicles for law enforcement, fire, and emergency medical service to trucks, construction equipment and aerial lift trucks.

Congratulations Ryan!
