Starting on July 1, 2023, we are launching our new partnership with the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC). We are responsible for the operations, maintenance and dispatch of RTC’s fixed route transit services, as well as system safety and community engagement.

Our marketing/communications efforts were recently recognized at the Ragan PR Daily 2023 Social Media and Digital Awards ceremony. We were a finalist in the Employer Branding category for our Transdev: Living Our Purpose communications efforts, which included our website storytelling efforts and our social media Purpose video campaigns.

This week, we launched our new partnership with the San Mateo County Transit District (SamTrans) and began operations of their microtransit service called Ride Plus. We are addressing a long-term need in the East Palo Alto and Half Moon Bay areas by providing on-demand microtransit services to passengers in areas where access to fixed bus routes had been challenging.

With summer vacations on the horizon and potential work travel on the schedule, it’s important to understand some risks associated with charging your devices at free, public USB port charging stations, like those found in airports and hotel lobbies.

Starting June 1, we are launching our new partnership with the Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority (LYNX) to operate its ACCESS LYNX paratransit service. As part of their new partnership, we will be responsible for the operations, maintenance, dispatch, scheduling, road supervision, and overall management of the contract on behalf of ACCESS LYNX. This includes 200 vehicles and 330 employees.

Claire Spielberg, our General Manager for our Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport fixed route service, has decided to retire after 35 years in the transit industry. Thank you, Claire, for your commitment to Transdev, for the passion to the industry you have shown over the years, and for the dedication and mentorship you have shared with your teams.

We are excited to announce that our WeRIDE Microtransit service in Avondale, Arizona has been recognized as a 2023 Top 50 Smart City Award recipient.

Transdev is proud to announce that Ryan Woods, Operations Manager for their Kean University Vehicle Services contract in New Jersey, recently achieved Automotive Service Excellence’s (ASE’s) World Class Technician certification.
