February is Heart Month
Since the mid-1960s, the month of February is designated as American Heart Month. Heart disease is largely preventable and focusing on improving your heart health has never been more important. Since the health and safety of our employees is our top priority, we have committed to providing some healthy-heart awareness information throughout the month of February.
Expanding Our Partnership with Colorado Springs by Adding Fixed Route
We kicked off our newly added contract with the City of Colorado Springs February 1, 2023 and had a great start-up. The team just added Mountain Metropolitan Transit’s (MMT) Fixed Route and Deviated Fixed Route Services to our Colorado Springs set of contracts – all as a results of positive results and having a strong team in place locally.

Today, at Transdev, we are celebrating Transit Equity Day and Rosa Parks’ birthday. Rosa Parks’ influence on the transportation industry continues to have an impact today. Did you know? Idling cars produce close to 2% of the U.S.’s total greenhouse gas emissions. Not to mention that it wastes fuel, can cause damage to the engine, puts the vehicle at increased risk of getting stolen and in some states it’s illegal. Consider these factors before thinking about leaving a vehicle idling.

With almost a month under our belts, our expanding partnership with TriMet continues strong. January 1 we added the management of TriMet’s (Portland, Oregon) Paratransit Eligibility Assessment & Travel Training Services to our portfolio.
