October 20: National Mammography Day + Transdev #WearPink Day

Today is National Mammography Day!

Regular mammograms are the best tests doctors have to find breast cancer early. Mammograms for women after the age of 40 are generally covered by most insurances – ours included.

Because of Covid-19, many people chose to forego their annual mammograms and now doctors are seeing an increase in breast cancer diagnoses. Don’t forget to get back on track.

Additionally, don’t forget the importance of your monthly breast self-exams. If you notice something unusual, remember to take immediate action.
