Safety Corner

Our Maintenance team exemplifies what it means to live our purpose…

With their consistent hard work and dedication, Transdev can deliver on our purpose to empower the freedom to move every day with confidence, thanks to safe, reliable and innovative solutions that service the common good.

Not only does our maintenance team excel at what they do – they are also committed to continually improving through training and ASE certifications – making many of them the top in the nation within their industry. National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification is the industry standard.

Recently, two members of our maintenance team have become ASE President Award recipients. Congratulations to Bryan Gold and Ryan Oblak. They each hold the 51 required tests for this achievement.

These two guys have been regularly pushing and motivating each other to help them each reach this impressive accomplishment,” said Tom Greaves, Regional Maintenance Director, Central Region. “Our philosophy is that we are a team, no matter what city, state or contract we work in, we are ONE team working together and that’s how we get great results like Bryan and Ryan have just done.”

There are 52 ASE-certified tests, each designed to evaluate an individual’s knowledge of job-related skills. ASE certification tests are segmented by sub-specialty such as automobile, medium/heavy truck, transit bus, parts specialists etc. ASE-certified professional work in every part of the transportation industry.
