In honor of Movember and as part of our commitment to the health & safety of our employees and communities, Transdev is helping raise awareness around prostate and testicular cancer and men’s mental health during November by holding a "mustache growing contest".

Although it is rare, men also can get breast cancer. Cells in nearly any part of the body can become cancerous and can spread to other areas. Similar to women, male breast cancer forms in the man’s breast tissues.

Today is National Mammography Day! Regular mammograms are the best tests doctors have to find breast cancer early. Mammograms for women after the age of 40 are generally covered by most insurances – ours included. 

Did you know that if everyone safely navigated intersections, 50% all of collisions could be eliminated? It’s important to be alert, be aware of the surrounding vehicles, brake as you approach, keep your distance and don’t speed through intersections. Following these tips can save you or someone else from an unfortunate accident.

As part of our Breast Cancer awareness efforts, we have designated Friday, Oct. 15 as Transdev’s #WearPink day. We encourage you to send us your pictures so that we can gather and highlight them to help raise awareness for breast cancer.
