In honor of Women's History Month in March, we will be recognizing and celebrating key contributions made to the transportation industry by women via stories on the Intranet, Yammer, the Hub and social media throughout the month. Also, stay tuned for the special celebration post we will publish on International Women's Day on March 8, 2021.

As Black History Month enters its last week, we wanted to highlight some more achievements and contributions of African American change-makers.

Our Denver Paratransit team recently partnered with our RTD client to provide shuttle services to one of Denver’s mass vaccination centers at the city’s National Western Complex.

Black History Month is celebrated every February to recognize the achievements and contributions of African American change-makers. We’d like to acknowledge a few such innovators who have made an impact on transportation – both directly and indirectly - in the included video.

MLK Day is observed each year on the third Monday in January, in honor of civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s life and legacy. It is the only federal holiday designated as a national day of service to encourage all Americans to volunteer to improve their communities or reflect on civil rights and racial equity issues. It’s sometimes referred to as “a day on, not a day off.”
