As Hispanic Heritage Month comes to a close on October 15 (it’s run from September 15 – October 15), we want to recognize just some of the contributions made by Hispanic and LatinX Americans to the transportation industry. Be sure to check out the included video.

During 2021, we have gone the extra mile to recognize our drivers (Transit Driver Appreciation Day) and our maintenance staff (Mechanics Day) – now, it’s time to celebrate our passengers. We have decided to designate the week of September 27 as Transdev Passenger Appreciation Week. Check out our video we included in the story.

Thanks to some amazing participation by our corporate team, our first Stuff-a-Bus “Back to School” event in Lombard was a great success. Our corporate office was able to offer close to $500 in much needed supplies to District45 in neighboring Villa Park, IL.

The greater Transdev family stepped up again, as it has so many times in the past – this time to help out after the wrath of Hurricane Ida. Our JTran operations in Jackson, Mississippi purchased non-perishable items to donate to their neighboring Louisiana Jefferson Parish facility in need.

National Hispanic Heritage Month runs from September 15 to October 15. It’s designated as a time to recognize the contributions and influence of Latinx and Hispanic Americans to the history, culture, and achievements of the U.S.
