May 21, 2022 is World Day for Cultural Diversity. At Transdev, we recognize and celebrate the diverse ideas and voices of our employees and the communities we serve.
Our Denver Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) staff members wanted show how they live our purpose by serving the common good and showing how they care. They recently put together little gift bags for the homeless population within the community.
Earth Day started April 22, 1970 and for 50+ years it has become an annual event to demonstrate support for environmental protection. We are committed to supporting our clients achieve their sustainability goals with expertise on vehicles, fuels, facilities and many other aspects.
At the recent 2022 Virginia State Bus Roadeo, our Fairfax Connector Maintenance team claimed first place in the maintenance category. The team now goes on to represent the State of Virginia at the 2023 APTA International Bus Roadeo to be held in Minneapolis, MN in May 2023. Congratulations to the team!
To conclude Women’s History Month, we wanted to share our second installment of our “Ask Me Anything” nuggets with you. This nugget also comes from our most recent session, held earlier this month in conjunction with International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month. It’s in response to the question: “Do you feel you weren’t taken seriously in your current role because of your age?”
There was no doubt in anyone’s mind across our Transdev operations that March 18, 2022 was Transit Driver Appreciation Day. We had such fantastic celebrations that took place from east to west and north to south. Enjoy the video recap included.
