The Transdev U.S. Leadership Team met last week in Lombard, Illinois for the first time since the office closed back in mid-March due to the coronavirus. In addition to observing social distancing, the team wanted to show their support for June Pride Month by putting on their PRIDE-themed masks.

On behalf of the leadership team at Transdev, I want to express our grief and outrage at the senseless death of another black person – a tragedy caused by embedded racism which has a long and tragic history in our country.

Rockland County’s public transit system (TOR) and our Transdev management and staff were recognized in the County’s recent media release for how our operations have adapted and responded to the COVID-19 crisis. 

On May 21 the transportation industry came together once again for the second #SoundTheHorn campaign to honor and thank all public transportation frontline, essential employees working through the coronavirus crisis.

Our Nassau operations wanted to make a point of letting their drivers know how much they appreciate them and their ongoing commitment. What better way to do that than to show them.
