In honor of Veterans Day, we proudly recognize and celebrate the many veterans who have chosen Transdev for their second career. As part of our workforce development strategy, our locations are continuing to explore innovative avenues in search of prospective employees who can fill our open positions. Allen (Robert) Dill (Maintenance Manager) and GM Andrew Steed, both from Community Transit in Everett, Washington, are starting to have great success with their latest partnership with AtWork.

This week is Rail Safety Week. It's a great time for us all to recommit to our Safety First philosophy and take the time to appreciate our rail team and the work they do for the communities we serve.

Our Baltimore operations recently provided us with a great example of how they are living our purpose to help the common good. In August, they decided to declare “war” on each other – a “penny war” that is. In all, they collected $983.00 (rounded up to $1000) which was donated to Blind Industries & Services of Maryland on behalf of Baltimore's Transdev team.

National Hispanic Heritage Month runs from September 15 to October 15. It’s designated as a time to recognize the contributions and influence of Latinx and Hispanic Americans to the history, culture, and achievements of the U.S.

Getting involved with our diverse transit industry organizations is an easy way to build strong community relationships and enhance our recruiting efforts. We have corporate partnerships with several, diverse industry organizations and the easiest way to become involved is by joining a local chapter in your area.

Women's Equality Day is celebrated on August 26 and commemorates the 1920 adoption of the 19th amendment granting women the right to vote. In honor of the day, we want to highlight our Women’s Mentorship Program – Mentor@Transdev.
