MLK day is observed each year on the third Monday in January, in honor of civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s life and legacy. King’s birthday is January 15. MLK Day is the only federal holiday designated as a national day of service to encourage all Americans to volunteer to improve their communities or reflect on civil rights and racial equity issues.

As the weather changes and the snow starts to fly across most of the country, we chose “Winter Preparedness” for our January/February campaign, as a reminder to be extra vigilant and careful on the roads, as well as to take care of ourselves.
Our Transdev team in DeKalb partnered with the City of DeKalb to make their annual holiday event called "Lights on Lincoln" another great success in 2022.
Our Stuff-a-Bus program translated so well to our streetcar business recently in Cincinnati. Our team there collected food to distribute to those in need and some of our “streetcar elves” were out in full force on the streetcar giving out treats and holiday goodies.
In its 35th year, CityLink’s Stuff-a-Bus efforts collect a record 24,942 pounds (12.47 tons) to help eliminate hunger in Peoria, Illinois. Thanks to our local team for partnering with our client to continue this longstanding tradition.
