March is Women’s History Month

Safety Corner

Did you know?

Every year, March is designated Women’s History Month by presidential proclamation. Women’s History Month is a celebration of women’s contributions to history, culture and society and has been observed annually in the month of March in the United States since 1987.

Women’s History Month’s 2024 theme is “Women Who Advocate for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.”

In honor of Women’s History Month, we will be featuring some inspiring words from some Transdev women in the field who are living that 2024 theme.

Check back throughout the month to hear from:

  • Samantha Eberling, Quality Assurance Manager
  • Tori Scheuerman, Regional IT Manager
  • Hope Ann Smith, Senior Transit Planner and Scheduler
  • Erin Vance, Financial Planning Analyst
  • Norma Zamora, Area Vice President – Transit Management Service
