Note: All Transdev employees can visit my.adp.com for a printable copy of their W2 as of January 31, 2024. Paper copies of the W2 forms will be mailed to the employee home addresses on file by January 31, 2024.
Common Questions You May Have
1. Will everyone’s W2 come from Transdev?
A: The company name appearing on the W2 will be associated to the legal entity of the employee’s original pay group (prior to the acquisition).
- If the employee was First Transit prior to the acquisition, the W2 will be issued under First Transit; if the employee has always been Transdev Services, W2 will be Transdev Services.
- Note: There are 8 legal names for Transdev (Transdev North America, Transdev Services, Transdev Alternative Services, etc.) that a W2 can be issued under depending on the pay group.
- Note: There are 4 legal entities for First Transit (First Transit, First Vehicle Services, First Transit of Puerto Rico and Central Virginia Transit Management) that a W2 can be issued under depending on the pay group.
2. Will all employees be receiving one W2?
A: Yes – generally all employees will receive one W2. However, there are a couple of exceptions:
- W2s are issued by ADP file # and pay group. If an employee has more than one, they will receive multiple W2s.
- Example 1: If an employee transferred from one pay group to another, they would receive multiple W2s.
- Example 2: If an employee was assigned a different ADP file # after the acquisition, they will receive multiple W2s.
