Breast Cancer Awareness Month: Don’t Underestimate the Power of Exercise

Safety Corner

Throughout October – we continue to provide you with tips and/or opportunities which can help raise awareness of breast cancer.

Exercising regularly can reduce your risk of breast cancer and improve your mental health and mood. If you’re not sure where to start, check out this brochure from @CDCgov.

NOTE: Incorporating physical activity breaks during our workday would definitely support the CDC’s recommendation.

In most cities across the U.S., the Susan G. Komen foundation organizes Race for the Cure breast cancer awareness runs.

Click here to find a race near you. For those interested, Chicago’s Susan G. Komen’s race is Saturday, October 28, 2023.
