We are happy to have launched our new partnership with the Tulare County Regional Transit Agency (TCRTA) on July 1, 2022.
We now operate all TCRTA’s paratransit and fixed route services, along with its call center, and are responsible for some of the contract’s maintenance, in addition to staffing, ticket sales and shelter cleaning.
The Tulare County Regional Transit Agency (TCRTA) is a joint powers agency formed by the County of Tulare and the Cities of Dinuba, Exeter, Farmersville, Lindsay, Porterville, Tulare, and Woodlake in south-central California. It is the largest single public transit agency in Tulare County. This consolidation of service took place in August 2020 with the goal to improve mobility, more efficient routes, increase quality of service and maximize technology in the County.
“Our goal is to provide innovative, reliable, accessible, and equitable mobility to all residents in our region,” said Richard Tree, TCRTA Executive Director. “We look forward to our new partnership with Transdev as we work together to achieve our goals and create a sustainable public transportation system.”
Ibrahima Toure, RVP for our southwest region, added, “We are looking forward to providing our expertise and best practices to TCRTA in helping them build a seamless transit experience throughout the region, with improved customer service. Bringing all TCRTA’s services under one contract will ultimately benefit the employees and passengers – through our consistency in approach and procedures. Passengers will now benefit from Transdev’s commitment to safe and reliable service and our focus on innovation and technology, which will help create a much-improved customer experience for all riders.”
