Safety starts with healthy people. During Suicide Awareness and Prevention Month, it is important to remember that taking care of your mental, physical, and emotional well-being is an important part of staying safe on the job.
Stress, anxiety, grief, and other life challenges can affect anyone. When you are rested, focused, and supported, you are better able to make safe choices and provide excellent service to passengers.
Remember to:
- Make time for rest and self-care.
- Reach out for support when you need it.
- Check in on co-workers who may be struggling alone.
- Speak up if you are feeling overwhelmed.
