Safety First! Transdev Recognizes National Safety Month

Safety Corner

June is National Safety Month, and at Transdev, safety is always our number one priority.  This month is a good reminder that we all play a part in keeping ourselves, passengers, coworkers, and communities safe.

Speaking Up for Safety

One of Transdev’s Golden Safety Rules is to always speak up for safety.  If you see something unsafe, say something.  A quick comment or reminder can prevent someone from getting hurt. Speaking up is not about getting anyone into trouble.  It is about looking out for each other. We are one team, and we all want to go home safely at the end of the day.

Safety on the Road

Safety does not stop once you are behind the wheel.  As an operator, driving is one of the most important parts of your job, and even small habits make a big difference.

Remember to:

  • Stay focused and alert when driving
  • Follow speed limits and adjust for weather and traffic
  • Keep a safe distance from other vehicles
  • Avoid distractions while driving
  • Report unsafe conditions or behaviors right away

If you notice a coworker doing something unsafe on the road, speak up for safety. A friendly reminder can prevent an accident.

We Are All Responsible

Safety is everyone’s responsibility.  When you speak up, stay alert, and follow safety driving habits, you help protect yourself, your passengers, and our communities. Safety First!
