While Transdev continues to support Movember for Men’s Health Awareness Month, we are taking the time to focus on important health issues that affect men, especially those working on the front lines of our operations. Transdev’s Golden Safety Rules remind us that taking care of our health is part of staying safe every day.
Mental Health Matters
Mental health is a serious issue for many men, but it’s not always easy to talk about. At Transdev, we want to make sure our employees feel supported and know help is available.
We encourage all team members to:
- Talk openly about how you are feeling
- Grow your mustache in November to show support for men’s health
- Support each other and speak up early when something feels off
Creating a safe and caring workplace starts with awareness and access to support.
Schedule Regular Cancer Screenings
Prostate and testicular cancers are common among men, but they can often be treated successfully if found early.
We encourage male employees to:
- Get regular checkups with their doctor
- Learn the warning signs
- Take steps to catch problems early with self-exams
Early actions can make a big difference.
Eat Well & Stay Active
Good food and regular exercise help keep your body strong and your mind sharp. For employees with physically demanding jobs, healthy habits are especially important.
Transdev encourages everyone to:
- Eat foods that give you energy and support heart health
- Drink plenty of water and limit sugary or processed foods
- Stay active with walking, stretching, or fitness programs
- Use wellness resources and health coaching when available
This Movember, we invite all employees to take part in health awareness activities, talk with coworkers, and take steps toward better health. Together, we can build a stronger, healthier team for all.
