Safety Tip: A Good Mood Creates Good Passenger Experiences

Safety Corner

At Transdev, we empower people with the freedom to move safely around their communities.  Driving your passengers is not the only important part of your job.  You are the first person our passengers see. When you smile, say hello, and are kind to passengers, it can make them feel happy and safe.  It can also make them feel good about using Transdev’s services.  People remember how you make them feel, so every ride is a chance to make someone’s day better.

Your Attitude Matters

  • Passengers Notice You First– when someone gets on your vehicle, you are the first person they meet. A friendly greeting can help riders feel welcomed.
  • You Show People What Transdev is Like– your words and actions show passengers that Transdev cares about them. Our business depends on the people using our service. People will return to our services when you are kind and do your job well.
  • Little Things Mean A Lot- a smile, helping someone get on the bus, or answering a question politely can help someone have a better day.
  • Great Service is Always Important– being nice and helpful to riders is a big part of your job and shows riders we care.

Tips to Help Passengers Enjoy the Ride

  1. Say ‘hello’ with a smile
  2. Stay calm, even when it gets busy
  3. Listen when someone talks to you
  4. Be fair and kind to everyone
  5. Drive safely and help riders when they need it

Remember, you are more than an operator. You help our riders feel safe, respected, and happy.  Every day, your hard work helps make Transdev a great place for everyone.
