Our final Mental Health Awareness Month post centers around some ideas for tools, like apps, that you can use or suggest to others.
There are many such apps available, at no cost, from the app store. Here are a few to get your research started:
- Calm
- Headspace
- Mindfulness
These apps are not designed to replace treatments or professional advice. However, they can help manage or lower stress, reduce anxiety, provide sleep assistance, and help you make small changes that could help you navigate some of life’s challenges.
Again, for more information about Mental Health Awareness, you can refer to the National Alliance on Mental Health or Mental Health America websites.
You can also re-listen to the presentation given last month by our EAP representative, Anthony Riccio, from Quantum Health Solutions, titled “Stress & Self Care”. Here’s the recording. Listen to it at your leisure – no stress.
