Staying Aware #1: Effects of the Time Change

Our first Staying Aware sub-topic highlights things to remember now that we’ve moved our clocks ahead one hour.

The spring time change is welcomed for longer, nicer days and the chance to be outside more. With more people out, it’s important to be extra vigilant while driving. Be careful on the roads and be aware of increased traffic and more pedestrians enjoying the longer days.

Also, it’s important to be aware of the effects the time change can have on your body. You may find you are extra tired. Try to keep to your set schedule, eating well and exercising will help, and maybe go to sleep a little earlier to prepare your body for the change.
