Transdev is proud to announce that our team in Mobile, Alabama, The Wave, was recognized within the Accessibility category for their partnership with Genfare.
The Wave had recently implemented a full Genfare Automated Fare Collection solution that included Fast Fare Fareboxes, our Transdev Mobile Link ticketing application, and Genfare Link software to their fixed route system. Following a successful implementation, they decided to extend some of these same features to their paratransit vehicles. Then, as a way to improve customer service and increase efficiencies, the team added Open Link Validators, which enabled their paratransit riders to pay their fares using the same mobile application and fare cards available on their buses.
Learn more about this system-changing innovation and what Damon Dash, Transdev’s General Manager for The Wave, had to say about it in the complete article found on Pages 16-17 of the magazine.
