Our next “Expect the Unexpected” sub-topic focuses on knowing your blind spots.

Make sure you know your car and where the blind spots are. Practicing identifying your blind spots is key, then you can understand how to adjust to ensure they don’t cause you problems when driving. Check your mirrors and adjust them to determine if it reduces the blind spots. Check blind spots by looking over your shoulder before changing lanes, reversing, turning or before opening your door when parked next to moving traffic.
