Hope Smith, Transdev’s Senior Transit Planner/Scheduler for Nassau Inter-County Express (NICE Bus), was recently nominated and selected to join the four-person leadership team on APTA’s Schedule & Planning subcommittee.
This particular APTA subcommittee is made up of 40+ planning and scheduling leaders and rising stars from transit agencies all over the country, including representatives like WMATA, LA Metro and Houston Metro, in addition to NICE.
“Hope’s work on this committee in just a few short years has quickly earned her a national reputation,” commented Jonathan Feldman, Director of Schedule and Planning. “We could not be prouder to see her join the committee leadership, bring value, and positively represent NICE Bus.”
Hope’s appointment provides her with the opportunity to make an impact on the committee over the next eight years, in various roles.
