Transdev Among Winners for APTA’s AdWheel Awards for Marketing & Communications

Safety Corner

Congratulations to our Marketing & Communications team. They were recently recognized by APTA as recipients of four AdWheel Awards. The AdWheel awards go to APTA member systems and business members for outstanding marketing and communications efforts that contributed to strategic organizational goals.

APTA received close to 300 entries which were evaluated in four distinct categories:

  • best marketing and communications on the COVID-19 pandemic
  • campaigns to support ridership or sales
  • educational efforts
  • projects to highlight transit needs and funding.

This year, Transdev received awards in recognition of our work during Covid, specifically in these categories:

  1. Best Print Media on the COVID-19 Pandemic
  2. Best Electronic Media on COVID-19
  3. Best Comprehensive Campaign on COVID-19
  4. Best Educational Comprehensive Campaign

When asked for her reaction, Mitun Seguin, our VP of Marketing & Communications, said, “Covid-19 was such a confusing and difficult time for our employees, clients and passengers. Our job was to try and provide the most effective tools and information to people (both internally and externally) and help them navigate this most unique situation. We’re so proud to be honored in this way with four different awards and to be in the company of such wonderful work in the industry. Congratulations to all the winners!”

The awards will be presented at APTA’s TRANSform Conference in Seattle October 9 – 12, 2022. At the conference, all first-place winners will be judged once again to determine the Grand Award recipients.

Here’s more information about the awards from APTA.
