Expanding Our Partnership with TriMet

Safety Corner

As of July 1, 2022, we expanded our partnership with TriMet, in Portland Oregon. Following last week’s successful startup, we have now added the operations of our LIFT Operations Contact Center.

We currently operate TriMet’s paratransit bus operations. Our new contract now includes the reservations, scheduling, customer service, and dispatch functions of TriMet’s LIFT program (ADA paratransit).

As part of this expanded partnership, we are now responsible for an additional 49 employees. We have already been operating TriMet’s fleet of 235 paratransit vehicles with more than 220 employees, in support of our original agreement to operate its LIFT Paratransit services which started October 1, 2021.

“We are excited to grow this great partnership we have with TriMet,” said Ron Bushman, RVP for the northwest. “We appreciate the confidence TriMet has in Transdev and we look forward to leveraging some of our technology tools to improve our customers’ overall passenger experience. We continue to strive to provide safe, reliable and innovation solutions for our clients and customers alike,” added Bushman.
