Living Our Purpose in Denver

Safety Corner

Our Denver Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) staff members wanted show how they live our purpose by serving the common good and showing how they care.

They recently put together little gift bags for the homeless population within the community. Each gift bag included a pair of socks, a toothbrush, toothpaste, hand sanitizer, mints, snacks, and a Transdev sticker.

After stuffing the bags, they were then picked up by a couple of Denver NEMT’s subcontracted transportation providers and delivered to the homeless people within the community. Colorado NEMT General Manager Kim Johnson and her staff also dropped some off at the local homeless shelters.

Great job to Kim and her team to dare to think out of the box and give back to a group in your community in a unique way.
