Our 30-year Partnership with NAPA Just Keeps Getting Better

Safety Corner

We are proud to announce the extension of our successful and longstanding 30-year partnership with Napa Valley Transportation Authority (NVTA).

We continue to provide operations and maintenance for NVTA’s Vine Transit System, which includes local fixed route, commuter, community shuttle and paratransit services. This encompasses oversight of NVTA’s 75 vehicles, including seven new electric vehicles in 2022, and 100 employees.

“We have worked with NVTA hand-in-hand over the years, not only providing safe and reliable service – but, adjusting as appropriate, to meet the changing needs of our passengers and community,” said Ron Bushman, RVP for the Northwest. “Whether it’s been navigating through the pandemic or helping them lead several disaster and emergency recovery efforts, including the recent 2020 fires, our partnership with NVTA continues to build on itself and get stronger to the benefit of our community.”

“It’s exciting to reflect how our relationship with NVTA has evolved since it first started in 1991,” added Ron. “Our teams continue to bring their technological and innovative expertise, along with their maintenance and safety experience to the table, to help NVTA as they transition to an all-electric fleet. We are proud that our contributions regularly add value and enhance the customer experience, benefitting both NVTA and our passengers now and for years to come.”

Congratulations to Ron Bushman, General Manager Cheryl Drake, and the entire NAPA team for all their hard work and long-term commitment to this contract.
