Pride Month is celebrated annually in June in tribute to those involved in the Stonewall Riots of June 1969 and works to achieve equal justice and equal opportunity for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) Americans.
During the month, we will be highlighting LGBTQ+ trailblazers who have forged their own path forward. In some cases, they have or are making an impact on transportation, but regardless they all stand for equity and equality.
Keep coming back to this site during the month. We will be sharing videos, contest information and more.
Feel free to share your stories and pictures of how you are recognizing PRIDE Month. Feel free to post them directly to external social media (@TransdevNA) and use the hashtag #TransdevPride.
You also can reach out to Joelle Rockwood to send your pictures or if you have any questions.
