Our last post for Mental Health Awareness Month centers around some ideas for tools that you can use or suggest to others.
Since the onset of Covid-19, many mental health and emotional wellness apps have gained in popularity.
There are many such apps available, at no cost, from the app store. Here are a few to get your research started:
- Calm
- Headspace
- Mindfulness
These apps are not designed to replace treatments or professional advice. However, they can help manage or lower stress, reduce anxiety, provide sleep assistance, and help you make small changes that could help you navigate some of life’s challenges.
Note: Our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is available to all employees, at no cost. It’s confidential and be accessed here. Also, you can always call (877) 747-1200 to speak with an EAP counselor or visit www.accessqhs.com.
