Denver Paratransit Helps Get Shots into Arms

Safety Corner

Last weekend, our Denver Paratransit team partnered with our RTD client to provide shuttle services to one of Denver’s mass vaccination centers at the city’s National Western Complex.

The center was open from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. During that time, the organizer’s goal of getting 5,000 shots in the arms of Denverites was achieved.

Throughout the day, our paratransit team had two buses staged, driven by Transdev drivers, Roger Duran and Shelly Wade. Other team members, Larry Buter, Sarah Meredith (GM), Dennis Morgan and Ahmed Cisse, also were onsite for additional support during this well-organized event.

Providing transportation to vaccination centers is just one more way our Denver Paratransit team is finding ways to support the community in which it operates.

Great job team!
