Regularly recognizing and celebrating our safety accomplishments is so important and a key element of our safety culture.
Our GORaleigh operation in North Carolina recently celebrated key safety milestones achieved by four of their bus operators.
The three drivers listed below reached 1 million driving miles without a preventable accident. That’s the equivalent of 12 years of safe driving!
- Vincent Price – preventable accident free since August 5, 2008
- Melinda Perry – preventable accident free since May 7, 2008
- Bernice O’Neal – preventable accident free since August 18, 2008
They also celebrated a 2-million-mile milestone. That’s 24 years of safe driving!
- Aldonia Brown – preventable accident free since September 3, 1996.
FUN FACT: Did you know that one million miles is the equivalent of driving a bus round-trip to the moon and back, twice!
